Pigeons.
The sculpture invites reflection on how public space, and the creatures who inhabit it, are categorized, revered or dismissed. In Pigeons, bronze and concrete are not just materials, but metaphors: the idolized and the ignored, the lasting and the common, the monument and the multitude. Together, they reflect the shared textures of urban life, honoring the overlooked with the same reverence given to celebrated figures.
Three bronze pigeons and a cast piece of sidewalk are mounted on a concrete pedestal and surrounded by concrete pigeons installed directly into the ground.
